Savvy Salon and Spa owners Michael Hawkins and Susan Hughes are all smiles during a grand opening day at Savvy Salon and Spa in Westlake Village.

Savvy Salon and Day Spa launched its expanded 6,500sq. ft facility on February 7th. The expanded facility will provide enhanced amenities including a full complement of hair design and spa treatments, a separate shampoo room that provides unique-to-the area privacy, a separate children's salon, an educational meeting room, gift certificates and special packages for women, men, teens, brides and moms-to-be.

At the opening, visitors were asked to bring small personal care products, educational supplies or small toys as a donation to Support for the Kids, a Ventura County non-profit organization that helps underprivileged children and women. Savvy also donated a percentage of all retail sales from the grand opening day to Support for the Kids.
